Community Guidelines

Night Life: Club Sessions is a community built around music, DJs, livestreams, and social interaction.

We want the platform to remain welcoming, creative, professional, and safe for everyone.

By using this website, you agree to follow these guidelines.

Comments and livestream chat should remain respectful. The following content may be removed:

• •Extremely vulgar or abusive messages
• •Hate speech
• •Racist comments
• •Harassment or personal attacks
• •Threats or intimidation
• •Spam or malicious links
• •Repeated disruption of livestream chat
• •Excessive sexual comments

These guidelines apply to every Night Life communication and content feature, including:

• •User profiles
• •Social posts and comments
• •Shorts (short-form video)
• •Groups and group posts
• •Community Events
• •DJ mixes and music uploads
• •Music sales and crowdfunding campaigns
• •Private messaging and voice notes
• •Voice calls
• •Radio and livestream chat
• •Film and other creative content

Users must not use any Night Life communication feature for:

• •Harassment
• •Threats
• •Repeated unwanted contact
• •Spam
• •Abusive behaviour
• •Unwanted sexual content
• •Intimidation
• •Impersonation
• •Scams
• •Deliberate platform abuse

Voice Notes

Voice notes are subject to the same Night Life Community Guidelines as written messages.

Users must not use voice notes for harassment, threats, abuse, repeated unwanted messages, scams or inappropriate or unwanted sexual communication.

Voice Calls

Voice calling is provided so Night Life members can communicate directly with each other. Calls must be respectful and consensual.

• •Repeatedly calling someone who does not want contact is not acceptable
• •Threatening or abusive calls may result in moderation action
• •Harassment through calling is treated the same as harassment elsewhere on Night Life
• •Use existing blocking and reporting options where available

Existing reporting and blocking functionality applies to voice communication. Night Life does not record private calls or give Admin or Moderators automatic access to them.

Night Life private messages are intended for genuine communication between members. Do not use Messages to harass, threaten, spam or repeatedly contact another member after they have made it clear that the contact is unwanted.

Existing blocking and reporting functionality continues to apply to private messages where already supported.

Do not post or share another person's private information without their permission.

This includes private contact information, private communications, precise personal location and other sensitive personal details.

Shorts should remain relevant to music, DJing, filmmaking, creative arts and relevant creator IRL content.

IRL content is allowed where it reasonably relates to the creator or Night Life's creative community. Moderators and Admins may remove Shorts that clearly do not fit the purpose of Night Life.

Users may only upload music, artwork or other creative content they own or have permission to use.

Only approved Musician accounts and existing eligible Band accounts may upload original music releases using the Night Life release system. An approved DJ account alone does not automatically grant permission to upload or sell original singles.

A DJ who also produces or releases original music can apply for Musician status. A user may hold both DJ and Musician status if both applications have been approved by Admin.

DJ mixes are separate from original music releases. Approved DJs may continue using the existing DJ Mix features according to the current Night Life rules.

Externally hosted Mixcloud or SoundCloud content remains subject to the rules of the external hosting platform.

AI music must be declared as AI when uploaded.

AI music remains streaming only, cannot be sold or downloaded, and is kept separate from the main All Chart.

Event creators are responsible for ensuring event information is accurate and that they have permission to promote the event through Night Life.

External ticket links must not be misleading or fraudulent.

Crowdfunding campaigns must be genuine, accurately described, not misleading and related to eligible Night Life creative or community activity.

DJ livestreams should remain focused on music and DJ-related content. Streams may be removed if they contain:

• •Explicit sexual content
• •Hate speech or harassment
• •Illegal activity
• •Harmful or dangerous content
• •Repeated non-DJ-related content

More livestreaming guidelines may be added in the future.

Night Life: Club Sessions represents a public brand and community. Users should avoid:

• •Excessive hostility
• •Political arguments
• •Harassing behavior
• •Deliberately disruptive conduct

We aim to keep the platform focused on music, creativity, nightlife culture, and community.

Our moderation policy:

• •First offence may result in a warning
• •Repeated offences may lead to suspension or ban
• •Severe violations may result in immediate account removal

Night Life may remove content, hide content, warn users, restrict accounts or take other appropriate moderation action where content or behaviour breaks these Community Guidelines.

Admins have final say on all moderation decisions.

Only Admins can approve DJs, Musicians or Bands. Moderators must not approve or reject professional account applications.

A user may hold both DJ and Musician status if both applications have been approved by Admin. This allows DJs who release their own music to use Musician features while keeping their DJ account and features. Users do not need to create a second Night Life account.
